One of the Sunshine Coast's best kept secrets, every year Lifeline Cooroy hold a denim sale with stock that has been collected over the year for this very event.
The sale was originally started as a way to collect preloved country clothing to offer it for sale at affordable prices for country and farming folk. Eventually word got out about the amazing goods on offer and now people come far and wide for the sale. The first time I walked in I almost fainted when I saw the cowboy boots!
If you like a little country flavour then you will be in your element, denim jeans are all under $15 and include brands such as Levi, Lee, Wrangler, RM Williams and more. Also on offer are leather bags, boots, belts and other items such as Australiana, collectables, paintings, linen and more. Clothing available is for men, women and children so there is something for everyone. They have collected 65 cartons of goods so there is plenty of fun to be had scouring the racks and tables for treasures.
This years sale runs from the 26 to the 28th of March 2015. Times are Thursday, Friday 8:30 am to 4:30pm and then the last day Saturday 8:30 am to 2pm. It is held at the CWA Hall on Maple Street, Cooroy here in Queensland. Put it in your diary! :)
