Yaroomba
Yaroomba holds a special place in my heart as it is where I got married on the beach.
We decided to go for a little adventure clambering over the rocks on a bit of an overcast day.
An innocent and excited child approached me and took my hand and asked if he could show me his shell collection. His mother looked up from the distance and I yelled out ' he wants to show me his shells'. We had a little laugh as I came over to her and the shells were shown to me that he had collected in his hat. His excitement for the wonders of the ocean were something I wish we could all still hold onto as we grow into adulthood.
Back to the Gypsy That I Was
Dress: Enchantress / Tree of Life
You see your gypsy
To the gypsy that remains faces freedom with a little fear
I have no fear, I have only love
And if I was a child
And the child was enough
Enough for me to love
Enough to love
To the gypsy that remains faces freedom with a little fear
I have no fear, I have only love
And if I was a child
And the child was enough
Enough for me to love
Enough to love
This year has been one of my best yet, I feel I have been on a journey to become 'myself' again and of course it is only just the beginning.
After so many years of being a workaholic, no fun and no play which resulted in burn out and depression among other things, this year I made a conscious effort at taking my pleasure seriously. I had put so many things on the sideline for so long thinking that I could do all those things for myself 'later'. I didn't stop to smell the roses. I thought my life was meant to be monotonous and that's just how it was. What a lie I told myself! All work and no play meant that I slowly got more and more unwell, losing myself in the process. I became isolated from others and shut myself away from the world telling myself that was just how I was. If you could take anything away from my post today, start putting aside time for yourself and learn to see the little things that can bring you pleasure. Give yourself permission! xx

Floral Clash
Photos - Troy
Leather Hat - Vintage
Floral Dress - Vintage
Flower Kimono Top - Thrifted
Tan Clemency Boots - Dr Martens
I don't mind a bit of pattern clashing and today with florals was no exception. Such a beautiful and warm day but no matter how hot it is I still like wearing boots. I am super excited about my new Docs that I am wearing in!
Do you Want to Go on an Adventure?
Thanks to this handy little chart I recently came across on a cute little blog, I no longer have any excuses for not having adventures! And neither will you!

Lisa Bonet - Style Muse
It was a the 90s and damn could this girl rock a nose ring like no other
So this is my first post with photos that are not taken by me! Well I have been super inspired lately, reading alot about different subjects and interesting people so I hope to share some of my finds with you.
Being a lover of vintage I am also a fan of the undone, hippy, grunge look and Lisa pulled it off perfectly. And still does! She is one hot momma with Lenny Kravitz being a match made in heaven back in the day with their daughter Zoe inheriting amazing genes.
