Byron Bay Road Trip

 

 

 

 

 

 

We made the spontaneous decision to visit Byron Bay for a few days. We are lucky we only live a few hours away so it wasn't a hard decision to make. We opted to stay at the Arts Factory again. The Arts Factory is close to town so we walked every where, so much so I ended up with blisters on the soles of my feet! But doing it that way you see things you would miss if you were driving plus you get the added bonus of vitamin d and some fitness to make up for the all yummy food we consumed!

I got to visit the The Rainbow Shop this time ,it is a well known shop that has been around for over 30 years. Jam packed full of colour and tie dye this is the place to find something that you will always remember Byron by.

I also loved Planet Corroboree which was close by, they have an awesome selection of Australian Aboriginal art, artefacts, books, gifts and more.

Bin Juice is now on my playlist after seeing them at the Byron Bay Brewery. We also caught a movie at  Pig House Flicks.  I love how we could actually lay down at the front of the cinema plus it was just a hop skip and a jump away from our accommodation.

Emu Mountain + Wildflower Spotting

Always up for new adventures when my friend invited me to join her and another friend on some exploring I jumped at the chance.

I had climbed Emu Mountain a couple days earlier but was keen to do so again, this time observing more the wildflowers that are currently in bloom in the area.

We also went across the road to the Peregian section of the Noosa National Park, a path that ends up on the beautiful beach.

It's important to spend some time in nature on a regular basis to help you stay grounded and remember that we are just a small part of this universe.

Take the time to observe and notice the small details.  The world really is a beautiful place, sometimes it is hard to remember that when you are focused on the every day mundane.
